So I stumbled upon an article today which you can find a link to below.
What it says is that humanity, for the first time in history is going to send an object outside of this Solar System.

This is for sure a huge milestone for the human race, It is comparable to the first time man stepped foot on the moon.
This could potentially lead up to discovery of new things which were not naturally possible in our Solar System and let us learn more about how the Universe works.
